The Frenchman is struggling with illness and is considered a doubt for the fixture at Wembley against his former club.

Toffees boss David Moyes is already without Jo, who is cup-tied, while Nigerian forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni remains a long-term injury victim.

Moyes: "There's a worry because Louis wasn't well but hopefully it's just a bit of sickness and he'll be okay."
