Parker: "I haven't been thinking 'if only' about England.
"It's such a fine line.
"All I can do is play well for West Ham and that's my priority. I have to stay fit as well and if I can do that then hopefully it will happen for me.

"It's been a bit of a stop-start season with the international breaks but it's been good for us having the new manager and he has been hands-on with the players that are here."
SCOTT PARKER
Scott was born in Lambeth (13-10-80) and joined Charlton Athletic where he was capped at all levels from schollboy onwards. He was Graeme Souness' first big buy in the summer of 2005 and a lot of hope was put on his shoulders. He was a hero at the Valley, and his move to Chelsea upset many fans. But he suffered injury problems at Stamford Bridge and only made 11 appearances in his first season (2003/04). Less the season after. At SJP he was made Newcastle captain when Alan Shearer retired, but was sold to West Ham when he couldn't settle in the North-East and wanted a return to London.
