Chairman Freddy Shepherd says Eriksson showed more than a passing interest in the 21-year-old.
Shepherd: "Sven asked me who young Ramage was and said that he thought he had had a very good first half.
"We felt that he did OK in the second half as well and the fact that his direct opponent Damien Duff scored was no reflection on him.
"Obviously he has only played a handful of games for us, all out of position, but we are delighted with him and I told Sven this."
