Gazza started the game on the bench, but came on after the break and scored all three in a 3-0 win, including a trademark free kick.
"I am very happy," said Gazza afterwards. "So many fans want to have their picture taken with me and chat with me.
"I don’t feel alone in China and I have to say Chinese food is very good!
"The language is causing me problems. I have to learn a few Chinese words – like shoot and pass – because they come in handy during a game."
