Wolves fans have a right to be a bit cocky heading into their League Cup clash with Newcastle United, considering they beat them 2-0 in the same stadium just a few days ago.
However, as reported by Express & Star, Walter Zenga has said that his side need to be consistent and prepare for the fact that Benitez's men will be out for revenge.
"Every game is different – of course we wish it'll be the same game but probably also they try to get revenge, and beat us," he said.
"It's another game, another chapter, another story. We want to have a nice evening – this is our focus."
It has been an odd start to the season for Wolves as they have had some fantastic highs such as the Newcastle and Birmingham victories, but also some bitter lows like the 4-0 home loss at the hands of Barnsley.
Consistency will be the key this season if they are going to challenge for the top six, and Zenga knows that.
"Of course the best idea is to have continuity in the result, because this is what all the teams are looking for, continuity in results and performances," he said.
"From now until the end of the season my point is I wish I have continuity in this way."
The Wolves players put in such a huge shift at the weekend that fatigue could prove to be an issue, but with the depth of talent they have at their disposal they should be able to shuffle the starting XI around enough to warrant confidence in winning the game.
