Notts County manager Kevin Nolan has played down claims one-time Socceroo Curtis Good could be set to join the club this summer.
Good looks set to depart Newcastle United this summer upon their return to the Premier League, having appeared just twice for the club since 2012.
Since joining from Melbourne City, Good has struggled with injuries but put together a full campaign in 2016-17.
And now with just a year to run on his contract, a move away from St James Park looms large but it appears he won’t be joining Nolan’s side.
“It’s the first I’ve heard of it,” Nolan responded when asked about the possibility of the 24-year-old joining the club.
“There will have been a list of names and he is one that will have come up.
“But at the minute, no.
“He will have been on the radar though as we have left no stone unturned in terms of players who we have looked at.”
During his time on Tyneside, Good has been sent out on loan on two previous occasions with fellow English club Bradford City and Scottish outfit Dundee United.
