Guess Who Tells Ronaldo To Snub Real Madrid?
Beckham: "I believe he's at the right club and a club he should stay at because as much as Real Madrid are a great team and one of the biggest clubs in the world, he's only just starting at Manchester United.
"He's only been there a few years. He's got a lot of people around him who will protect him. As a fan of Manchester United I hope he stays there but who knows?
"It's none of my business. All I'm going to say to him is congratulations on an amazing season. I'm sure he'll be crowned world player of the year and he deserves it."
Beckham also claims, after wearing the skiper's armband in England's friendly on Sunday, he expects he has captained England for the last time.
Fabio Capello has whittled down the short list to be England's next captain to two candidates.
Beckham took on the role for Sunday's win in Trinidad & Tobago before passing the armband on to Gareth Barry.
Capello will make a decision on his permanent captain at the start of next season ahead of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers, which get underway against Andorra in September.
He is now considering two contenders for the coveted position.
Capello: "The captain must be a leader and he must lead on the pitch and set an example on the pitch.
"When he speaks, the players have to listen to him.
"I haven't decided who (will be captain), but I have two ideas. It is down to two. That is all I am saying."
Those two are thought to be John Terry and Rio Ferdinand.
