Apparently Sheffield United, Cardiff City, QPR and Ipswich Town are all interested in the Aston Villa striker.
For starters .... Queens Park Rangers have just sacked Jim Magilton and Paul Hart hasn't even been to Loftus Road yet ... never mind issue a list of transfer targets!
Sheffield United announced today "we are skint" and could be off-loading a couple of players in January.
Ipswich are another side who couldn't afford Harewood's wages.
So that leaves Cardiff ... and there is no word of any interest from them.
So where does this "sudden interest" come from?
Try Harewood's agent!
Harewood’s agent Phil Sproson: “Marlon has settled in extremely well and gets on very well with the other players.
“He feels part of it and we hope that something can be sorted, either on a permanent basis or until the end of the season. I know he would like to stay and it would be a real shame if he wasn’t able to finish the job.
“He is happy at Newcastle and although it took him a while to get back to the level he wants to be at his form and fitness have recovered and he’s enjoying his football again.”
