Chris Hughton: "He's a player who has done better and better in the period of time he's been here.
"Probably a little bit unfairly, we knew when we took him that he hadn't played a lot of football.
"He'd missed a fair chunk of pre-season, so we knew hit fitness levels weren't what we would have liked them to be.
"But he's a player who has fitted in here very well, and has certainly improved every week he has been here.
"What we need at any given moment is 11 players on the park who are hungry and have a desire to want to win football matches, and, thankfully, so far we've had that."
