Glenn Roeder admits he had a problem on Thursday in the UEFA Cup when
Shay Given was not quite fit for the match against FK Ventspils. But he is expected to return to the United goal at Villa Park.
Given was happy to play, but the manager decided against it, and was happy to give reliable substitute Steve Harper much needed match fitness.
As it happens, Harper hardly had a touch of the ball, and it's back to warming the bench on Sunday. Something he must be used to by now.
