The 30-year-old Australian international spent the first seven months of his career on Tyneside recovering from a problem in the same hamstring. And with Titus Bramble looking for a new contract; Steven Taylor and Peter Ramage at last looking something like Premiership defenders; and a new central defender sure to sign in January ... we ask the question ... have we seen the last of Moore?
Glenn Roeder: "Unfortunately, he has a history in that particular hamstring, and we think he will be out for a period of time."
The Australian still hasn't decided if he wants to stay in this country when his contract is up in the summer. Rumours from Oz say his future in England depends if he wants to continue his international career.
