Newcastle United won against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League in September.
Jamaal Lascelles’s goal in the 76th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides in the Premier League game in Wales.
Isaac Hayden featured in the match for the Magpies. The 22-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The former England Under-21 international was pleased with the win, but the youngster was not happy with his own performance against the Swans.
After the match, Hayden, who joined Newcastle from Arsenal in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Northern Echo to be around £2.5 million, made the following post on social networking site Twitter.

Hayden has now explained the tweet and told The Shields Gazette: “I’m realistic about these things, and I don’t think I was harsh on myself.
“I set myself high standards and I understand my game. I understand what I need to improve on.
“I just believe I’m an honest person, and if I have a good game I feel I can say I’ve had a good game If I’ve had a bad game, I feel I can say I’ve had a bad game.”
