The All Stars team will be managed by Ricky Tomlinson, with coaching support from Liverpool star Jamie Carragher - and the side is now starting to take shape.
Shearer will be reunited with his Euro 96 sidekick Teddy Sheringham in attack - and several other former players, including Dave Watson, Alan Stubbs, Trevor Steven Alan Irvine, Mike Newell, Graham Stuart, Des Walker and Nigel Clough have all confirmed their involvement.
They will be joined by an array of celebrities including former boxing world champion Joe Calzaghe, Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones and singers Nicky Byrne and Craig David.
