Newcastle travel to Hibernian on Tuesday evening to take in their fourth pre-season friendly of the summer.
The Magpies have endured a mixed pre-season so far with last Saturday's 1-0 win over West Ham sandwiched by a 4-0 defeat to Wolves and Saturday's 2-1 loss to Preston.
Steve Bruce's side now travel north of the border to take on Paul Heckingbottom's Hibs side, who have already taken in four competitive games this season.
Hibs saw off the challenge of Alloa, Arbroath, Elgin City and Stirling Albion to secure their passage into the last 16 of the Betfred Cup.
The Edinburgh side kick off their Scottish Premiership campaign on Saturday and will provide a stern test for the Magpies.
The game will take place on Tuesday, July 30, with the action getting under way at 7:45pm.
This one is not on TV and, as yet, there are no plans to stream the game on either club's social channels.
