The fact Owen did not show his face on the St James' Park pitch or running track - the entire 90 minutes of Sunday's game - says it all.
He was officially on the bench, and as all the other Stoke substitutes warmed up at half-time and during the course of the game, Owen was nowhere to be seen.
How Tony Pulis allowed this to happen, amazes me. Did Owen have a word with him and explain the Newcastle fans were baying for his blood?
Why have the little turd on the bench?
Some young up-and-coming kid - with some pride for his club - would have been a far better option.
Owen was obviously spending the 90 minutes tweeting on his Twitter account: “Just signed autographs for about 40 Newcastle fans outside our hotel. Not one single bad word spoken towards me. I reckon them exact same people will be booing the life out of me should I appear on the pitch today!!!”
Newcastle fans? I doubt it.
Some young kids who probably thought he was "some bloke who talks on Match Of The Day on a Saturday night."
By the way ... Stoke will not be offering him a new contract in the summer.
Put THAT on your Twitter page you shithouse Michael Owen.
