The Toon fans understand "the resources available" but they have questioned Hughton's tactics since the first game of the season.
They have called for a 4-4-2 formation to help Andy Carroll have some chance of battering defences rather than seeing him go it alone, and for James Perch to be axed.
On Saturday Hughton did just that!
