Zurab Khizanishvili: "If they make a decision and I go back in January, I would be happy to play for Newcastle again.
"I spent three months there, and I was very happy.
"I spoke to Chris, and he's a very honest guy – he tells you what he thinks face to face.
"That's what you need as a player. He's a respectable man, and I really enjoyed the games I played.
"They're top of the league, and doing so well. They're six points clear, and I'm sure they'll be in the Premier League next season.
"They have enough quality to win promotion – I saw that on the training ground when I arrived.
"To be really honest, I really enjoyed it. I was there three months, but it felt like three years. I felt at home, the players, manager and staff were very kind.
"I really appreciate what the manager did for me – he's a really, really top man. He's a nice person.
"That's why Newcastle are doing really well. There's a respect between players – they believe in each other 100 per cent. I was really happy to spend that time at Newcastle.
"It's a big moment for any player to play for Newcastle. Apart from the top four teams in England, I think Newcastle is the biggest club, and I wish them the best.
"Many people have asked me about Rangers and Newcastle, and I would say, because of their history, they're both big clubs.
"I've played games in Scotland and England, but Newcastle is something different. The supporters make it a different atmosphere.
"They're the best supporters when you're playing well, and if things are going wrong, they demand you give 100 per cent to put it right. They want you to give everything."
