Hughton's position has again come under scrutiny following a run of just one win in 11 Barclays Premier League games.
Hughton, for now, has the support of the board, who backed their manager with a £20million summer spending spree, but chief executive David McNally warned that could soon change should results not improve.
Chris Hughton: "I work in an industry that is about momentum, getting results, getting the best out of the players at your disposal.
"My job on a daily basis is hectic with numerous things you have to make decisions on. That dominates my thoughts, not anything outside that.
"There is so much to management you have to give that your 100 per cent concentration and focus, anything outside of that objective will not deter me.
"There is no doubt within the game you want continuity, but that doesn't happen as often as it should.
"The ownership of clubs is very different from quite a few years ago and with that the job of a manager.
"I feel those within the management game would welcome more consistency, but my concern is what happens at Norwich City."
