While the form of other midfielders has meant that Hugo’s absence hasn’t been costly, Sir Bobby is sure to welcome the return of the only player in the squad who can put pressure on the inconsistent Laurent Robert.
United physiotherapist Derek Wright confirmed to Evening Chronicle: "We have been in touch with Hugo and his specialist in Portugal, and the news is very good.
"What they are saying is that Hugo is fit again and ready to go back into full training, something he will do straight away when he comes back to England a week on Monday.
"He will obviously need a reserve game to get some match practice but after that it will be all systems go."
