Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged his step-son to stay at Stamford Bridge and NOT go to Newcastle.
Wright: "(Shaun) has to stick there, he is at the champions, you don't go to the champions and leave. I read in the papers people calling him a flop, he didn't get the chance to be a flop, that hurts me.
"He didn't get the chance to play and I didn't think Mourinho gave him a lot of chances to play. I thought he was a scapegoat a lot of the time.
"I told him 'whatever happens this season you have to keep playing with confidence, take people on, go there, do what they bought you for and your time will come'. Last season will be a major learning curve in his career, he's only 24."
