JJ Struggling To Win Over Cocknies
He couldn't find a Spurs shirt all night against Fulham and Cottages boss Chris Coleman cast a doubts over Tottenham's European aspirations despite his side going down 1-0.
Jermain Defoe's eighth-minute route-one strike was enough to push Spurs up to fourth in the Premiership table, but they were far from convincing against a team which dropped into the bottom four, and JJ was hardly inspiring in front of the England manager. The Spurs fans have not taken too him and there were moans and groans as he made a hash of the simplest things.
"I don't want to put extra pressure on Martin Jol, but I thought we could easily have come out of the game with a point if only we had been better in the final third of the field. I was disappointed about that.
"The difference between us and Tottenham is about £45million I would think, but there wasn't that much between Tottenham and us."
