Marveaux started like a lost sheep in the early period of the game, but got stronger as the game went on in a three-man midfield in front of defensive duo Cheik Tiote and Gael Bigirimana.

“When we’ve got no (Yohan) Cabaye, we need Sylvain, because he gives us an intelligent pass, and I thought he did that.
