Keegan is thought to be in pole position to see off competition from the likes of Middlesbrough and Tottenham to secure the signature of the £11million-rated Galatasaray star.

Turan's agent Ahmet Bulut (also agent for Emre) has confirmed that one club has shown an interest in the two-footed 21-year-old.

"One club is talking to Galatasaray and asking them to name their price.
