Newcastle United reserve-team boss Lee Clark: "Fraser has been fantastic in the last few games and has progressed a lot in the last 18 months.
Keeper Heads Out Of Toon In January!
"He's got two great examples in Shay and Harps to look up to as well as two top coaches in Terry Gennoe and Adam Sadler, our goalkeeping coaches.
"Tim Krul is also at an important stage because he is playing at first team level for Falkirk and the games he is playing in are competitive with results at stake.
"We have two great keepers now and the future looks good as well. Tim will be back in January and who knows?
"We might switch things round a bit and Fraser may go out on loan and Tim will play reserves.
"Going on loan would help him improve all parts of his game. And it is important for us to have the competition in the side for keepers.
"At the moment at first team level we have two top keepers battling it out for number 1 spot."
