Kinnear Not Out Of The Woods - FA Consider Ban!
FA disciplinary officials are still deliberating over whether to charge the former Wimbledon manager with bringing the game into disrepute following his X-rated blast at members of the press a week ago today.
"There will be no charge in connection with him appearing in the tunnel at Goodison Park but he has been written to by the FA just reminding that he was serving a touchline ban," a spokesman for the FA said.
"As far as the Press conference is concerned, the FA's football regulation department is still considering the matter so that is still ongoing at the moment."
Anyone who saw a rerun of Graham Taylor's 15-year-old TV programme "The Impossible Job" on ITV 4 this week will see swearing at a press conference is hardly something new.
Taylor answered the press with a volley of four letter words when the media wanted him removed as England boss.
It is generally seen as "off the record" by reporters if swearing slips out, as both sides understand they have to work together.
I'm not saying 52 swear words is acceptable, but let's be sensible about it.
If the FA don't like his comments ... I'm sure Joe has better things to do with his time than sit talking to reporters.
