The 25-year-old was dropped from Louis van Gaal's squad for Wednesday's friendly against France after conceding ten goals at domestic level as the Magpies slumped to three straight defeats.
Tim Krul: "I'll keep fighting to the end. I've got ten games left to show them that I'm ready and I think the manager knows what he gets from me.
"I'm going to do my best to show him that I should be on that plane to Brazil. He hasn't phoned to explain his decision, but I don't think the manager has to do that.
"We've had a bad month and I think we have to be honest about that. We have turned it around with two great wins and the only thing I can do now is impress in the next ten games.
"Another good run with Newcastle can help my chances of going to the World Cup, because of course the manager looks at that.
"He said in his press conference that some players have obviously had a bad couple of months and he would go from now. All I can do is look forward and try to get back into the squad."
