The 24-year-old is part of the Dutch squad at Euro 2012, where he is understudy to Maarten Stekelenburg.
Newcastle are braced for bids from Chelsea and Tottenham when he returns from Poland, but the keeper has signed a five-year deal and he says he has no regrets.
