Krul made a superb double save seconds before Moussa Sissoko opened the scoring on Saturday.
But he was at fault for Hull's goal, charging out into 'no man's land' and not collecting the cross.
Krul had been hoping to be involved in Holland’s friendly against France next week, but national coach Louis van Gaal surprisingly left him out of his final selection.
Tim Krul said: “Ten clean sheets in the last ten games would be nice!
“That’s the only thing I can control. I’ve got to fight hard and work hard.
“If we keep winning like this, hopefully I’ve got a chance.
“The manager said he’s following 50 players up towards the World Cup, so everything is open."
Holland play against Spain, Chile and Australia in Brazil.
