Leeds have rejected a £5million offer from Fulham for highly-rated striker Ross McCormack, according to Sky Sports.
Last season’s top scorer in the Championship is a target for a number of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle and West Ham.
But Fulham, who are preparing for life in the Championship after relegation from the Premier League last term, have reportedly started the bidding war expected to take place for the Elland Road skipper this summer.
It is believed the 27-year-old Scot has grown increasingly unhappy with life at the club and has made it no secret that he disagrees with the way boss Brian McDermott was axed by new owner Massimo Cellino.
But Cellino is demanding over £8million for McCormack, and Newcastle owner Mike Ashley will NOT pay that price.
