A police spokesman said: "We can confirm a man from Ponteland has been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries. It follows an incident in Darras Hall on Sunday where snowballs were thrown at a car and a driver got out to confront the people responsible.
"Two teenagers were injured during an incident. One received a broken ankle."
Schwarz denies the assaults.
