Mackem Game Switched!

Last updated : 06 October 2014 By Footy Mad - Editor

... Sunday 21st December with a 1.30pm kick off.

It is unknown yet if the game will be shown on TV.

Forget 'Wally With A Brolly' - He Is No 'Yes' Man!

Alan Pardew shrugged off further speculation about his future at Swansea by insisting he would simply turn his attention to Leicester on October 18.

Why does it always rain on me ...

But (according to the Daily Mail) Newcastle United are reportedly considering a move to appoint former England national team boss Steve McClaren as a potential replacement for the under-fire manager.

Since moving to Derby County last September McClaren took the Rams to the play-off final and they are pushing for promotion this campaign.

Derby County have lost just one of their opening eleven games this term but he would never work under Mike Ashley's rules.

Pardew takes the shit ... McClaren would never work under those conditions.

Wise Slags Off Geordies!

As a guest on BeIN Sports friend of Mike Ashley Dennis Wise was invited to give his own assessment of the situation at the club.

His conclusion was that the biggest problem is that Newcastle fans simple hate Southerners.

Love you Geordies

Wise was always a player with "Little Man Syndrome".

He gained a reputation for kicking players when he was a 'short arse' who used the football field to act tough knowing he wouldn't get a smack in the face back!

Come on Wisey talk to me "a gottle of geer"

Outside down a side street would have been a different story, but the men who make the most noise, don't go down side streets.

Some people really deserves to be hated, and this nobhead has had a career that - one day - will catch up with him.

Who knows, he may be found floating down the Thames sometime in the future, and would the Geordie nation cry?

Apart from Mackemland, I don't think it matters to Geordies where people live.

Ashley and Wise in happier times

Les Ferdinand (Sir Les) and Malcolm Macdonald (Supermac) are Cockney legends on Tyneside. And always will be.

It just so happens Mike Ashley, Alan Pardew and Nobhead are from London and have just about ruined our club.

Are the two connected? I don't think so.

But as long as we sit in the relegation zone, on a nose-dive to nothingness, the three will always be tossers, no matter where they come from!

David Moyes wants to return to management after being sacked by Manchester United in April, and he is currently top of the bookies list.

It's understood that the Scot would like to manage the Toon - despite their nightmare start to the season.

He's as short as 5/4 to succeed Pardew with BetVictor. Hull boss Steve Bruce is 11/2 while Tony Pulis is an outsider at 7/1.

United taken three points from their opening six games - their worst start to a season since 2003.

The Toon have won only five of their 26 league games since Boxing Day.

WHICH OF THE THREE WOULD YOU PICK?

Tony Pulis

Steve Bruce

David Moyes
