Not only were we the target of the idiots with bottles and coins AFTER the match (when we were in a position when we couldn't fight back) but we were subject to it when we were entering the ground ... and again hemmed in by police.
Is that the Mackem way? Chuck a missile and run? Pathetic coward scum!
A section of Mackems threw missiles at Joey Barton as he warmed up; invaded the pitch at the end to goad the Mags (who couldn't get at them because of the police); went for Shay Given giving him obscene gestures; and they were waiting outside (again throwing missiles).
What will be done about it? We'll have to wait and see. But I'll tell you one thing ... what goes around, comes around!
They have to come to SJP, and that will be interesting.

"I am sure the Football Association will look at it, but listen, I was just focusing on the game, particularly at the end.
"But football is an emotional game, don't get me wrong. We will have a chance to look at it over the next one or two days and if supporters were out of line.
"But you have got to enjoy it. It has been a hell of a long time."
The final whistle sparked a pitch invasion by home supporters in one corner of the Stadium of Light, and it took riot police and stewards several minutes to restore order after away fans ran to confront the threat.
There was a stand off for more than a quarter of an hour, with Sunderland fans refusing to leave the ground, and Newcastle's fans unable to leave the stadium and board their buses.
