Apparently Keane says it could be just the motivational tool the Sunderland manager needs as he prepares for Sunday's visit to St James' Park.
Roy Keane: "I do believe that one or two people took their eyes off the ball. I felt it in my bones. You're going to say, what do I do about it? Sort it out for next week.
"The final thing a manager says to his players is "let's start well". I might as well be speaking Japanese, because we don't.
"You can talk all you want in the dressing room. You can have a team talk lasting 16 hours, but you've got to make things happen.
"We had our three victories and maybe we should have had an open top bus, because everyone was getting carried away."
