Stuart Pearce has told Sky Sports News that Newcastle United look unstoppable this season.
Newcastle have won their last nine matches in all competitions, and they are already five points clear at the top of the Championship table.
The Magpies won comfortably against Leeds United yesterday at Elland Road, in what looked to be a tough test.
And Pearce now believes that Newcastle may well be impossible to catch, as they have looked so impressive throughout the season so far.
“I’m not sure [how you stop them],” Pearce admitted. “They have the biggest squad, arguably one of the best managers in the league, arguably the best set of supporters and I think they are going to be unstoppable this year, with momentum on their side.”
