Matty Set To Bail Out Roeder!
Roeder: "When I was the Academy manager at Newcastle, I was told Matty Pattison would be (the) best player to come through the first-team, and when I saw him play I wasn't disappointed.
"He's a tough lad, the right sort for where we are now - he doesn't know what it is to lose."
Pattison, who could be named in the South Africa squad for January's African Nations Cup, has made 15 appearances for Newcastle's first team.
