The meeting was organised by the sister fanzines The Mag and True Faith, with Chronicle Sports reporter John Gibson the star speaker.
It was a good night, and the turn out was larger than expected ... the point being to put the stages for a "Supporters Group".
Although SKY Sports said Saturday's protest was well organised, many felt there were too many splinter groups doing odds-and-sods when the need was for one specific body to do the ground work and keep all the fans under one banner.
Thankfully it passed with no trouble, and the proposed "sit down on the pitch" was avoided.
I'm sure Gibson will tell all in tonight's newspaper, but to cut a long story short, he said the proposed "fans group" was a brilliant idea and was sure to work.
He also slagged off Mike Ashley and his back-up boys, plus an amazing attack on SKY TV and the Southern press.
Others on stage were Malcolm Dix, Mark Jenson, Michael Martin and Colin Whittle.
They asked for suggestions from the floor and ideas to form a committee.
All in all a very positive evening.
