Mixed Opinions On Roeder At Norwich!

He certainly was not the choice of any Norwich fans I asked today, but we could say the same about Graeme Souness and (to a certain degree) Sam Allardyce.
At the end of the day it is down to the chairman of the club, and I cannot ever remember a ballot box at St James' Park for suggestions from the supporters.
The best quote comes from a Norwich fanzine/website this morning: "I must admit, when I first heard the news I thought 'shit'. But, in his favour, he can offer more to a club in crisis than most people would first think.
"Okay, he's been ushered out of a job by West Ham and Newcastle, but so has Bobby Robson and Harry Redknapp. Does it make them shite managers?"
And full marks to the guy for his POSITIVE attitude:
"His record in taking over clubs in a mess, Watford, West Ham and Newcastle and immediately turning them around is a good one and why City may have turned to him now.
"There's not too many clubs, if any, in this division who can claim to have a manager who has finished in the top eight in the Premiership in recent years with two differing clubs and taken one of the biggest in the land to the brink of a UEFA Cup semi-final."
Good on yer mate! Keep that green and yellow flag flying, and best of luck in League One next season.
