The businessman who was linked to a buy-out of Newcastle United (but didn't have enough money to but a match programme never mind the club), got himself a lot of media coverage with his scam.
After being 'wined and dined' by Mike Ashley, and invited to a couple of Toon matches at SJP, it became clear he was full of bullshit ... and it was all a big joke.
