Leeds head coach Garry Monk gave Norwich City the "Kiss of Death" last week.
He said: "Newcastle won't win the Championship title, I'm sure of that.
"I'm going for Norwich City, they have a stronger squad."
Oh dear!
Taxi for Monk!
Norwich boss Alex Neil apologised to fans and promised personnel changes after the Canaries "humiliating" 5-0 thrashing at promotion rivals Brighton.
Neil admitted that certain players let themselves down at the Amex stadium and he was smarting after "the worst defeat" in his tenure.
The Scotsman was dismayed at the manner in which his side collapsed, conceding four goals in the final 30 minutes to now be four points behind second-placed Brighton in the Championship table.
When asked how he will be reacting to this heavy defeat, Neil replied: "I will be changing it now.
"Certain players have let themselves down and have not performed at anywhere near what they're capable of. I apologise to the fans."
Neil felt the manner in which City caved in was not "associated" with his teams and added: "We felt the game was over. That is irrelevant, you have to fight to the end.
"Now it is about getting into work and working as hard as you can. After the game, the players said more to each other than normal which is not a bad thing."
A hat-trick by striker Glenn Murray and further goals from Lewis Dunk and Anthony Knockaert made it a black day for Neil, who confessed: "It was my worst defeat as a manager - a humiliating defeat. The players need to try and play better it's as simple as that.
"We defended really well in the first half and up until the second goal it was a tight game. The way we ended the game I don't associate with my teams.
"The third goal was self-inflicted and the disappointing thing after that was that we didn't compete.
