"We had chances but could not get a goal and that's why we were beaten.
"I have a sneaking admiration for Shay as I had him on loan here a few years back.
"He has always been a top class keeper, I just didn't want him to prove that against us but he did.
"I'm just disappointed for the supporters because I know what this derby means to them.
"It's a bitter pill to swallow and the dressing room is down but we'll bounce back.
"We're disappointed but we've got nothing to be ashamed of. The only thing missing for us was a goal. We possibly should have got something out of it."
Bobby Robson said the win was a `big victory`.
