The Australian striker has been sidelined since May with the problem and underwent surgery over the summer in a bid to resolve the matter.

Kinnear: "We know there's a chance Mark will need surgery which isn't good news.

"He's had a scan but wants a second opinion - and so do our medical people - so he's gone to Australia to get one.

"We'll know more when he comes back so all we can do is wait."
