The eight-year-old doesn't seem bothered how a goal is scored, who scored it, or who that player plays for ... but it's how he celebrates that excites the youngster.
Jack McBride: “It was an amazing atmosphere. The crowds were cheering and it was great.
“I can’t believe Newcastle did so well. I wanted them to win but I know Sunderland play well and I thought they would put up more of a fight.
“I wanted to score and then put the mask on like Gutiérrez.
“It was an amazing experience. I saw Carlos Tevez score a goal and he made a heart shape with his hands so I copied him. I watch Sunderland as well but I’ve always supported Newcastle a little bit more.”
His dad, David, 36: “People have been coming up to him in the street and shaking his hand – girls want to kiss him too.
“He’s a bit of a celebrity. We went to St James’ Park to buy him a new strip and people were all trying to talk to him.”
Jack’s mum, Melanie, 38: “He’s always been a character - everyone who knows him says it.”
