Newcastle United will be charging their own supporters extra money on every away ticket that they sell this coming season.
The club will add an extra £1 administration charge onto the price of every away ticket, following on from the rule that only season ticket holders can buy away tickets.
Derek Llambias says the cost of selling away tickets should fall to the home club, but that takes away the security safety-net when the "away" club can stop known hooligans getting hold of tickets.
It's a 'double-edged sword', because that would leave Newcastle's ticket office to sort out AWAY tickets ... which they don't already do.
In other words, it's another way Ashley and Llambias can click £4,000 every away game ... from their OWN supporters.
Some clubs are already charging £50 for away tickets. Do we really need NUFC adding to the fee?
