You can just feel it.....a buzz of excitement ...an air real hope and the feeling this could be the start of something special. If we get off to a good start it will gather pace.Dare we dream.? Could we be this years suprise package and exceed all of our expectations with a top 5 finish.........you never know.  | |

Posted this in another thread but it fits here too........ Our Strike Force is second to none in the EPL. Our midfield is a balanced mixture of Steel and Skill. Our defence is looking stronger than it has been in donkey's years. We still have the best keeper in the league. Not forgetting the best fans in the land…………………… All I can say is………………………………. | |

I like the fact that we will get stronger throughout the season as sams ideas and techniques begin to take effect ...the players will get fitter...partnerships will devlop on the pitch...new players will begin to settle in...rozenhal etc...and injured players will begin to return...Duff and barton...it looks promising.... ...what do you guys think....250 to 1 at the moment to win the league...50 quid down and i can put a down-payment on a house come May. | |

this is the first pre season in probably five years where i am that positive about the new season approaching. we have done some amazing business in the transfer market and got rid of some very poor players. i think that our team is the best outside the top four and with sam in charge we might even surprise ourselves like we did when we got top four under bobby. this hopes to be a very good season for all of us and i think that we can start to settle down as a club and achieve what we should of been doing for the last decade and that's putting silverware in the trophy cabinet | |
