He is on loan at Port Vale for a month, but it is not yet clear whether Streete will be allowed to play in this Saturday’s FA Cup tie against MK Dons.
Having impressed at Vale Park, his loan deal is set to be extended by another month, but his cup glory could be put on hold.
Streete made his full debut for Vale last week, and the club’s interim manager Rob Page is keen to have the 20-year-old in this Saturday’s FA Cup tie against MK Dons.
Rob Page (talking to the Stoke newspaper The Sentinel): “The physical side of him pleased me.
“He didn’t shy away from that, as well as being more than comfortable on the ball.
“I think he’s going to have a bright future.
"The FA Cup tie is a big game to us and something we’re dealing with at the moment.
“But we are pretty confident we will get things sorted for Saturday.”
