Newcastle Job Too Big For Allardyce!

The days of St James' Park being a "bastion" have gone under Big Sam's leadership, as he thinks more about the opposition than his own team.

OK we were playing Liverpool. SO WHAT?

So he decided to cut his material to suit, and have a back-line of four with just about every man behind the ball ... looking for a draw.

He said: "If we could have got forward, that's great, but I could not leave a back four like that exposed against Liverpool - it would have been suicidal.

"In the end, that happened because we went chasing the game and tried to get back in it, and then left so many gaps for Liverpool to exploit."

The man is clueless!

Liverpool should have been rocked from the first whistle, and if we were to lose a match that honestly could have been 8-0 ... at least go down with a fight!

Never EVER sit down and die!

We sat back waiting for the inevitable, and when Liverpool scored ... the team didn't have a 'Plan B'.

To be honest, I don't even think they had a 'Plan A'!

Looking at the way they lost the majority of 50-50 tackle; give the ball away more often than not; and didn't have a single shot on target to trouble the Liverpool goalkeeper, this was team without direction.

For the first time since the days of Wayne Fereday and Kevin Brock, there were players out there hiding, longing for the final whistle.

The Times claim they have reports that there is unrest in the dressing room, and after Saturday, I believe that is true.

This is not a happy camp, and as Alan Shearer said on Match Of The Day on Saturday "I am VERY worried about Newcastle these days", and he voiced the opinion of thousands.
