Alan Shearer, Hugo Viana and Shola Ameobi have all recovered from injuries sustained on Wednesday night and are available to face Everton.
Titus Bramble has not yet resumed full training so is again ruled out.
No clues about Sir Bobby’s team selection though, but there must be a fair chance of Steve Caldwell and Laurent Robert being recalled to the starting line-up.
Everton’s only injury doubt is midfielder Mark Pembridge, although Duncan Ferguson is obviously ruled out with a back injury.
