Ranger was arrested by police on Monday night outside a Tyneside casino.
The 20-year-old is currently on bail awaiting trial at Newcastle Crown Court in June on assault charges and his conditions ban him from entering the city's "parking meter zone".
Ranger appeared at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning, where he admitted the breach and was again granted bail with the same conditions.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "At 11.17pm on Monday, a 20-year-old man was arrested in Newcastle city centre for breach of bail."
The north London-born footballer, who was on loan with Barnsley earlier this season, will go on trial before the same magistrates on Wednesday on a drunk and disorderly charge.
