Millions of kids would love the opportunity to experience Premiership football and be good enough to play against the world's best.
Nile Ranger has that chance - and he's just about BLOWN IT!
Ranger made his comeback from a foot injury for Newcastle Reserves in front of a crowd of just 400 fans last night and set up two goals in a 4-2 defeat against Chelsea.
Watched by Alan Pardew and managing director Derek Llambias the Toon rebel showed flashes of what he is capable of.
Willie Donachie: “Nile could be a really good player if his attitude was good.
“He has still got a lot of growing up to do. He has a lot going for him.
“Nile is so privileged to be playing for Newcastle.
“Everybody in Newcastle would give their right arm to be doing what he’s doing.
“He is gifted with a physique and speed that if you weren’t born with it, you can’t give to somebody.
“It can be very frustrating because some of the other lads who are leaving have a spot on attitude.
“Unfortunately they haven’t got his gifts. If he gets a bit of their attitude, he could be a hell of a player.”
