Taylor's agent suggested earlier this week that the former England Under-21 skipper, who has played only 45 minutes for the Magpies’ first team this season, could be loaned out in January.
But Pardew knows only too well that the defender has an injury-prone history, and if he plays, he needs to be handled with kid gloves.
Championship promotion hopefuls Queens Park Rangers, managed by harry Redknapp, have been mentioned as having an interest in the centre-back.
But the Championship is a "kicking ground" and Pardew refuses to risk the 27-year old with another team getting the benefit.
Pardew played down the speculation, even though Taylor has found himself out of the matchday squad since his return from injury.
Alan Pardew: “We have got so many games coming up, I can’t see me wanting to loan a centre-half.
“I don’t see the logic in that, so at the moment, that’s a ‘no’.”
